Our organizers run realistic scenarios for military simulations at Commando Action Centre.
Milsim, or military simulations, is a recreational simulation of combat scenarios. Using airsoft equipment, people are organized into teams where they must complete a mission in a military-like style. Players of all experience levels are welcome to join in on Milsim airsoft events. Typical Milsim scenarios include demolition, hostages, defend and attack, find the package, capture the โflagโ, and more!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Airsoft is a popular sport in which players imitate gunfights. It’s similar to paintball in concept, except instead of paintballs, it uses high-powered replica airsoft guns that fire plastic BB pellets. People establish teams and employ military techniques. The game is based on honour since there is no markings to show your hits.
Overall, airsoft is a fun and safe activity since it follows stringent rules that ensure players are aware of and capable of avoiding possible dangers. Full face masks are available and are required to protect the entire face and neck. Airsoft is no more harmful than other team sports when played carefully.
A hit from a medium range will not hurt and will feel like being poked if you are wearing protective clothing and professional gear. The FPS, range, and protective gear have an impact on how much you feel. A close range hit with a high FPS gun without protective clothing can leave a welt but this is rare, and airsoft normally hurts less than paintball.
There are a few pieces of basic protective equipment that are advised. A good pair of impact-resistant glasses or goggles is the minimum needed. Many players, however, wear face masks that are paired with eyewear to provide complete face, head, and eye protection. Protective airsoft jackets, guards, and boots are other popular choices.
Note: You need to bring your own shoes to use while playing the game. It is advised to bring clean shoes for the trip home.
Airsoft is an outdoor sport; a pair of good shoes and a change of clothes may be needed. Bug spray is effective against bugs during the summer months but apply it before putting on your clothing. Most importantly, do not use bug spray on your mask or goggles, as some bug sprays can damage or jeopardise the safety of the goggles and other plastics.
We are currently open by reservation only and are NOT accepting players that are walking on without a valid reservation.ย You must have a reservation in order to rent equipment.ย There is no minimum amount of players to make a reservation on a weekend.ย Please call 613-835-1729 or visit https://commandopaintball.ca/book-now/ in order to book.
In order to make a reservation, we require the name of the organizer, a phone number and the number of players. When closer to the date of the booking, we require a valid credit card number. We do not use the card and everyone pays separately at the field on the date of the game, however, the organizer has 48 hours to cancel the whole group. The organizer is not responsible for no-shows. If no one calls to cancel the group and no one shows up from the group, we charge the card a $20 per player penalty. If you do not have a credit card, we require a $20 deposit per player in advance to hold the reservation.
With the exception of walk-on days, which open at 9:00 a.m., we are very group driven, so we do not have set open and close times. We open when the first group is booked in and close when the groups are done or when it gets dark, whatever comes first. If you are walking in, we recommend you do not come out any later than 2:00 p.m. as a start time, as we cannot run with less than 10 players.
This means you are not subject to mingling and your group will be moved around from field to field and there will be no outside players allowed in your group. If a group wants to be private, there is a privacy fee of $150 to be paid in advance
