Commando Paintball offers 10 different playing fields for you to choose from. We have the most varied terrain for paintball games in the Ottawa area. Play a stealthy game of bush ball on one of our wooded fields, or play loud and fast on our military themed fields such as the naval base or army base! You can even storm the beaches on our D-Day inspired field.
With the lower intensity of our low-impact markers and paint, it will be much easier to focus on your surroundings and take in the amazing field set-ups that we have. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Supportive shoes. Since we play at Commando Paintball in all weather conditions, we advise putting on sturdy ankle-supporting footwear. Just keep in mind that with all the activity, they might get dirty.
Shoes and grip are vital. Most athletes wear sneakers or hiking boots. You should wear footwear that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet. For both comfort and safety, make sure the shoes you select have a closed toe.
Note: You need to bring your own shoes to use while playing the game. It is advised to bring clean shoes for the trip home.
The first step is making a reservation. Reservations are always recommended and encouraged, even if you are just a few players. The majority of people that play at our facility have never played before, so you will fit right in. The minimum age for low-impact paintball is 7 years old.
Upon check-in, you are provided the equipment you need to play. This includes a Tippmann marker, pods to hold your paintballs, goggles and coveralls. Each group is assigned a field marshal who will provide the rules, show how to play and use the equipment safely, make the teams (identified with arm bands) and ensures all players are safe on each field during play.
We are currently open by reservation only and are NOT accepting players that are walking on without a valid reservation. You must have a reservation in order to rent equipment. There is no minimum amount of players to make a reservation on a weekend. Please call 613-835-1729 or visit https://commandopaintball.ca/book-now/ in order to book.
In order to make a reservation, we require the name of the organizer, a phone number and the number of players. When closer to the date of the booking, we require a valid credit card number. We do not use the card and everyone pays separately at the field on the date of the game, however, the organizer has 48 hours to cancel the whole group. The organizer is not responsible for no-shows. If no one calls to cancel the group and no one shows up from the group, we charge the card a $20 per player penalty. If you do not have a credit card, we require a $20 deposit per player in advance to hold the reservation.
With the exception of walk-on days, which open at 10:00 a.m., we are very group driven, so we do not have set open and close times. We open when the first group is booked in and close when the groups are done or when it gets dark, whatever comes first. If you are walking in, we recommend you do not come out any later than 2:00 p.m. as a start time, as we cannot run with less than 10 players.
This means you are not subject to mingling and your group will be moved around from field to field and there will be no outside players allowed in your group. If a group wants to be private, there is a privacy fee of $150 to be paid in advance
Low impact paintball is a standard game of paintball, however, the diameter of the barrel on the paintball guns used is small and accommodates a smaller, more lightweight paintball. This makes the paintballs hit with significantly less force and therefore stings much less. This is excellent for newcomers to the world of paintball. No matter your age, low impact paintball is an excellent option for our customers here in the Ottawa region.
